Circuit Simulation

Circuit Simulation” is used to determine the response of an electronic circuit prior to building and testing to increase the chances of first-pass success. It can also be a useful tool when performing the “Detailed Circuit Design” to assist in determining circuit values and topology. Naturally, the simulation is only as good as the models for each element in the design, and care must be taken to perform simulations that reflect real-life parameters and operational conditions such as component tolerances, component variations, temperature, process variations, external circuit excitations, etc.
